Composition
HISTOCAL® Historic Masonry and Grouting Mortar MG II/IIa (fine) consists of natural hydraulic lime NHL 5 acc. to EN 459-1 and grainclassified crushed lime sands.
For laying bricks and grouting of historic masonry (e.g. natural stones, bricks). We recommend our HISTOCAL® Historic Masonry- and Grouting Mortar MG IIa in case of buildings subjected to humidity.
SubstrateThe substrate must be dry, clean and free from loosely attached particles. Sufficiently wet absorbing masonry before.
After-treatmentProtect fresh mortar by keeping moist until sufficient hardening. This will take several days to several weeks. The mortar must be protected against frost for several weeks until sufficient hardening has been achieved!
Special notesThe air and surface temperature must be at least 5 ° C and maximum 25 ° C. HISTOCAL® Historic Masonry and Grouting Mortar MG II (fine) shall only be used in the original state without additives.
StorageDry, if possible on wooden shelves and protected against draft.

The Akepox Colorant is made to be used with the Akepox Epoxies. We recommend using Solomon Colors to tint mortar!
