Stone Impregnation
Impregnation on the basis of silicone.
Penetrates deep into the stone, makes it water-repellent without impairing the vapour permeability. Protects facades from driving rain, causes water to pearl off and is dirt-repellent.
Consumption: approx. 1 - 15 m²/liter, depending on the absorbency and the composition of the stone.

If I use a consolidant to protect a sugaring marble surface, will it affect future preservation treatments if needed i.e. the application of D/2? In the same vein, does the application of a consolidant in any way thwart future biological growth?
It is recommended to clean the stone thoroughly and make sure it is completely dry before applying any consolidation treatments. Once consolidated less water will be absorbed which will tend to keep the stone cleaner. It will not impede future cleaning with D/2 Biological Solution.
